Mt.Fuji State of Mind

As the year draws to an end, I take home ‘Mt. Fuji from Japan, Coming from the land of majestic expanse of the Himalayan range, encountering the singular peak of Mount Fuji initially left me feeling a bit let down. I was quizzed and curious about why this solitary highest peak, was such an iconic symbol of Japan, central to Japanese culture, art, and literature for centuries.

Drawn closer to Mount Fuji, I found myself left with a profound sense of inspiration and awe.

Risen from molten ash,
A solitary majesty,
Crowned in pristine white.

The mountain’s aesthetic beauty, with its symmetrical cone shape, embodies perfection and harmony.

Mount Fuji’s volcanic nature and frequent eruptions serves as a reminder of the unpredictable forces of nature. Yet, its stand alone presence is a cultural symbol of endurance and resilience in the face of life’s challenges.

For me, Mount Fuji transformed as a living symbol – honouring the stand alone spirit of resilience and grace, navigating through trying times. On a year ending note, I aspire to live the “Mt Fuji State of Mind”.

It’s a pressure cooker at peace. We all are pressure cookers searching for peace and the analogy can’t be more precise 😄

Interesting paradox- pressure cooker and peace. So much is cooking inside, we are boiling, simmering until the state of water changes from liquid to steam; from pressure cooker metaphor, the mt Fuji state of mind is is transformative – from volatility of liquid to rising above of the steam….creating enhanced value. Not all utensils can do!! Very insightful metaphor anand.
